About The Preserve

Unlike typical developments where the land is stripped to make room for a maximum number of lots, The Preserve boasts only a handful of large, estate size waterfront homesites, allowing property owners to coexist with East Texas nature at her finest. The developer, Sally Creek Investment Partners, LP, acted with intention in order to leave this amazing property brighter and more beautiful for future generations to enjoy.

A tightly deed restricted and gated community, The Preserve provides a private escape amidst Texas pines, native hardwoods and abundant wildlife.

Water front lots are 1 to 3 acres with undulating hills and streams running throughout. All lots are heavily wooded and several offer beautiful secluded landscapes to escape the wildlife of the city for the real wildlife of the forest and lake. Hawks, ducks, egrets, heron and an occasional bald eagle and osprey are seen flying overhead and resting on the water’s edge. Deer are often seen throughout the private forest trails.

Clear, spring fed water is perfect for swimming, kayaks, canoes and the avid fisherman looking for a quiet, peaceful environment to cast that bass rod. No loud jet skis or gasoline motor boats allowed here. Only trolling motors to maintain the peace and serenity, and to protect the water.

Sally Creek winds throughout the property inviting property owners to explore the creek and its serene silence. No development is allowed on the creek edges, preserving its natural undisturbed beauty. Trails along the creek’s bank make fantastic hiking in the lush forest. Discover the 100+ year old beech trees and a magnolia dating back to the Civil War era.

See you on the lake.
